Human rights Chief Commissioner to retire

Charlach Mackintosh, Chief Commissioner of the Alberta Human Rights and Citizenship Commission, has announced his retirement from the Commission, effective April 1, 2008.

Dear Albertans:

It’s been a privilege serving the community and the people of Alberta as Chief Commissioner. The staff of the Commission and my fellow commissioners have provided outstanding services for Albertans over the years, and I feel truly fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with such a splendid team during my appointment. I am confident that the fine work they do on behalf of all Albertans will continue as an exemplary model of government service.

Sincerely,
Charlach Mackintosh
Chief Commissioner
