Diversity Leadership Award 2010
Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) is this year's recipient of the Alberta Human Rights Commission Diversity Leadership Award of Distinction. The Calgary-based Canadian Pacific Railway, with over 3,650 Alberta employees, has been recognized for its exceptional work in building workplaces that are welcoming and inclusive for all.
The Diversity Leadership Award is one of the Alberta Business Awards of Distinction. Other finalists recognized for their commitment to diversity and inclusion were Canadian Western Bank (Edmonton), Prospect Human Services (Calgary), and TELUS (Operations in Alberta).
CPR was honoured along with other Alberta Business Awards of Distinction recipients, at an Awards gala in Edmonton on February 19. Chief of the Commission and Tribunals, Alberta Human Rights Commission, Blair Mason, presented the Diversity Leadership Award of Distinction to CPR.
