Diversity Leadership Award 2011
Ghost River Rediscovery Society is this year's recipient of the Alberta Human Rights Commission Diversity Leadership Award of Distinction. The Calgary based non-profit organization has been recognized for its exceptional work in building a workplace that celebrates diversity and is inclusive of all.
The Diversity Leadership Award is one of the Alberta Business Awards of Distinction. Other finalists recognized for their commitment to diversity and inclusion were YMCA Calgary, Carewest (Calgary), and Husky Energy (Calgary).
Ghost River Rediscovery Society was honoured along with other Alberta Business Awards of Distinction recipients, at an Awards gala in Edmonton on March 4, 2011. Philippe Rabot, Director of the Alberta Human Rights Commission, presented the Diversity Leadership Award of Distinction to Ghost River Rediscovery Society.
