Human Rights in the Workplace public workshops scheduled for spring 2012
You can still register for upcoming Human Rights in the Workplace public workshops. The full-day public workshops, intended for managers, supervisors, team leaders, human resource professionals, union leaders, and small business owners, will provide participants with:
an overview of Alberta's human rights legislation,
The full-day workshops will also provide participants with an understanding of respectful and inclusive workplaces and strategies to create such a workplace.
The Human Resources Institute of Alberta has approved a maximum of 10 points towards the recertification of the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation when attending a full day workshop.
The public workshops are scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and the fee, which includes lunch, is $131.25 (GST included). The spring schedule is listed below:
Edmonton: May 16, 2012
Calgary: May 30, 2012
Lethbridge: June 6, 2012
