How to file an appeal

An appeal must:

  • be made in writing (preferably typed)
  • include the reasons why you believe the Chief of the Commission and Tribunals should review the Director's decision
  • be received by the Tribunal within 30 calendar days of getting the Director's decision

You may include any additional information you believe is relevant to your complaint. You must not include new allegations.

The Tribunal Office will send the respondent (the person or organization against whom the complaint was made) a copy of your appeal, including any attachments.
